I just can't say enough about how pretty it is walking around Crescent City in Florida. There is a cool breeze that comes off the lake so even in the summer here in Florida you can walk around comfortably in the afternoons. The big oaks trees along the streets provide ample shade as you walk along admiring all the different types of architecture along the way. There are some people that have put alot of money and effort into remodeling these older homes to their former stately beauty and I hope that newcomers to this area will do the same. There are plenty of home builders out of Deland with experience in creating the victorian look with wrap around porches and gingerbread. Of course they use more modern materials than the what the older homes were build of. But in many cases these older homes were made with cypress which lasts forever and is very resistant to rot. If you do buy an already built home here of course be sure to get the termite inspection. Right now I have 2 Florida lots for sale right next to each other only 1 block from Crescent lake and in fact one of them has a lake view. It's not that far from Deland just north up Highway 17 thru Barberville and Pierson to get to Crescent City and well worth the trip. If you are in the market for commercial property here in Florida please check out the Restaurant for sale in Pomona Park just up the road from Crescent City.

Secret city hides hidden Florida real estate bargains right in the middle of the state...that's what the sign should say when you drive into Crescent City. Driving around Crescent City Florida is like a step back in time with big victorian style mansions, crackers houses, wrap around porches with porch swings, actual sidewalks with huge oak tree lined streets. The street along the lake even has the road going around the trees in the middle of the road. It's a little pocket neighborhood with gorgeous lake views overlooking a huge 15,000 acre lake that goes into the St. Johns River thru a wide creek that is big enough to accomodate 60 foot yachts which have been know to come and hide in the lake during hurricane season to get away from the rough waters of the intracoastal.
Now is the time to buy florida real estate in Crescent City. The prices are dropping and there are bargains galore. There are still a few old homes there that you can snap up and remodel back to their stately elegance. Be sure and visit my Florida Land for Sale website to see some great lake view photos.

Spring has come and gone and now summer is upon us. The weather here in Crescent City Florida is really quite mild this time of year with a light breeze coming off of Crescent Lake making it quite pleasant to sit out on the front porch on a lazy sunny summer afternoon. If you like porch swings and southern climes, big fancy houses on oak tree lined streets you will love Crescent City. It is a Florida secret that I would like to share. Just a tiny town on Crescent Lake with all the local amenities such as bank, post office, grocery store, restaurants but without the hustle and bustle and overdevelopment of Orlando and nearby Deland. Drive north on 17 from Deland and you will find Crescent City a pleasant respite with a down home flavor, gorgeous lake views and good folks sittin on their front porch swings soaking up the easy times. While you are visiting drive down Park street north and you will see my Florida lots for sale only 1 block from the lake. Next to them is a Key West style home w. front porch swing. I am hoping someone will build something similar on these lots to blend in with the local historical flavor of architecture. Be sure to visit the waterfront restaurant on the water within walking distance of these properties.

Port Orange Florida is located south of South Daytona and is famous for it's great fishing for snook. You will also find plenty of blue crabs, shrimp, stingrays, horseshoe crabs, seagulls, and cranes as you pass by the islands along the Halifax River.
Established in 1867 on the banks of the Halifax River, Port Orange as a community has a long and proud history. It retained a resort-like character and a relatively stable population for well over a century. Not until the mid 1970’s when Dunlawton Avenue was extended from the FEC railroad to Interstate 95, did Port Orange begin to blossom into the large metropolitan community that it is today with a population over 50,000. Careful planning initiatives have yielded rather than compromised - beauty and opportunity. A mere walk, bike ride, or drive through our community reveals its uniqueness and that our residents are part of a distinct and very proud family. This family, which we call Port Orange, is made up of some 150 distinct "neighborhoods". They are the core of this community, making it a great place in which to live, learn, work, and play. Because of the City’s highly regarded development approach, an investment in Port Orange real estate is a secure investment. Port Orange is a community characterized by a stable and successful business climate which develops, nurtures, and embraces quality businesses. And so today, as we celebrate over 135 years as a community, we are proud to call Port Orange Florida "our home".

This Crescent City property has beautiful tree lined streets with enormous old oak trees providing that stately look you only see in older established neighborhoods. It is an as yet undiscovered peice of Florida paradise. Crescent Lake has intracoastal access via Dunns Creek which 60' yachts come down from the St.Johns river. There is a large public boat ramp, dock and waterfront restaurant within walking distance of this property as well as private marinas nearby. Many of the older homes have already been bought up by enterprising individuals seeing the enormous potential this town has to offer. They have restored these old houses to their original glory making this historical neighborhood come alive once again. It is a quiet place to relax with breathtaking views of Crescent Lake as you drive along Lake Street.
Now is the time to think about investing in waterfront and waterview property in the middle of Florida north of Orlando.
You will be very pleased with Florida real estate in this historical area on Highway 17 north of Deland Florida.

Waterview lots in Crescent City Florida that have intracoastal access are a rare find. You can walk just a few blocks to the public boat ramp and popular waterfront restaurant right from your property. You can park as big a boat as you can trailer right in your driveway and put it out at the public boat ramp.
These lots are surveyed and ready to build on. Surrounded by Key West and Victorian style homes in a historical part of Crescent City that looks out over beautiful Crescent Lake in Putnam County Florida.
The view down the street to the Lake is gorgeous. There are lots of orange, tangerine and grapefruit trees as well as stately old oak trees on these two lots. You can buy them together or separate. Please take the time to visit My Florida Land For Sale to see the pictures and get more information on these two wonderful peices of residential property in Florida.

We are in the process of adding alot of great new decor to a restaurant/bar that is in Pomona Park Florida. The pictures on the website don't do it justice as a big bar has been added in the dining room, mirrors, lights, pool tables, beer signs, underbar coolers, etc.,. but you can get a good idea of what it looks like if you visit Florida Restaurant for sale by owner. This restaurant/bar is opening soon as a beer and wine Florida karaoke bar and will be called Yeehaws. However the real estate is still for sale as long as the new real estate owners honor the 3 year lease signed by the business owners. We are hoping they will be very successful as it only helps to increase the value of the real esate. So if you are interested in getting a great deal on an already established restaurant/bar in the Crescent City Florida Pomona Park area now is the time to take a look. As time goes by the price will go up as business increases and the area grows. It is only 2 miles from Crescent Lake and 4 miles from the St. Johns River-very popular area for bass fisherman and tourists as well as the Bike Week crowd. Take a look at this once in a lifetime Florida commercial real estate opportunity today!

I have some great Florida land for sale by owner that I think would appeal to just about anybody. We have 2 lots only 1 block from Crescent Lake Florida. Crescent City is a small town with historical charm. It has old Victorian style and Key West style homes along streets with big oak trees and sidewalks on each side of the streets. This neighborhood was originally created in the 1800's when people would take a ferryboat from Palatka to Crescent City.
This area is also famous for it's bass fishing. Crescent Lake has Intracoastal access via Dunns Creek (a very wide river) which goes into the St. Johns River which if taken upstream goes into the Intracoastal waterway up by Jacksonville.
Alot of intracoastal yacht owners with big 40' to 60' yachts come down Dunns Creek in the summer to park their boats in Crescent Lake as a safe haven during hurricane season.
The lots I have for sale are only 1 block from the lake and within walking distance of the public boat ramp. There are also lots of private marinas with very reasonable rates on boat slip rental nearby.
If you are looking for the perfect place to build your dream home near the water-this is it. Please look at My Florida Land For Sale in Crescent City Florida.
