Driving around Crescent City Florida is like a step back in time with big victorian style mansions, crackers houses, wrap around porches with porch swings, actual sidewalks with huge oak tree lined streets. It's a little pocket neighborhood with gorgeous lake views overlooking a huge 15,000 acre lake that goes into the St. Johns River thru a wide creek that is big enough to accomodate 60 foot yachts which have been know to come and hide in the lake during hurricane season to get away from the rough waters of the intracoastal.
